Seven Steps to “I Do” is a bridal collection that ties in God’s Word in an elegant approach. The number “seven” in the Bible represents God’s perfection in all things, including marriage. Marriage is a holy covenant between husband and wife that replicates the relationship between Christ and the church. Jesus Christ is God’s only Son who was sent down to earth to die for our sins and be raised back to life 3 days later. This self-sacrificial love is what husbands are called to replicate for their wives. They are asked to submit themselves to their wives so that they might sanctify her, cleansing her by washing of water with the word that she might be holy and without blemish. He who loves his wife loves himself. Whereas wives are called to submit to their husbands so that the heart of her husband can trust in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. This collection is based on the covenant of marriage, a replication of God’s love for the church.
